I was born in Serbia in 1972, to a Montenegrin father and a Serbian mother. Over the years, I have lived for extended periods in several countries, including Serbia, Montenegro, the United States, and Malta. In my twenties, I also spent time in Greece and Cyprus while traveling throughout the Mediterranean. Experiencing everyday life in different countries was always very interesting to me. The photo below was taken in 2007 by my mother, at the top of the Empire State Building, while I was living in the U.S.
After leaving the United States, I turned to my family and relaxed much more. The photos below are from the great skiing area of Tignes, France.
From 2015 to 2019, my family and I spent whole summers sailing around Greece, Italy, Malta and a bit of France and Montenegro. Mediterranean region is beautiful and human civilization started here, so there was so much to see and explore. My family is on the first photo, taken in Taormina, Sicily, and the video below is me sailing in the Ionian Sea.
Many years ago, I had a very close encounter with a lethargic wolf, near my house in Montenegrin Mountains, and told a dramatized version of the story to my youngest son. His total fascination was noticed by my wife, who took several photos below.
I traveled a lot around the world since 2000, often to meet and talk with my colleagues, which I enjoy. Because the center of the global economic activity moved eastwards, I increased my activities in the same general direction. Photos below are from China where I visited Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau and other cities and regions.
The summer of 2022 was very adventurous, and we spent a lot of time in Montenegro with friends, enjoying the nice weather and relaxed atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed after the long months of isolation during the pandemic. The photo below was taken in the Old Town of Budva.
